I'm a very visual person.  That's the common theme that holds together my exploratiion the arts and my passion for science.  My previous training in the arts has been in the form of workshops.  Now I am receiving formal training at The Glassell Studio School, Houston, TX.  I've been involved with photography and print making over the years, but my current focus is painting.   I've trained and worked as a scientist in Structural Biology for over 35 years - peering into the structure of life's molecules to get a deeper understanding of how cells work.
